Specialty Areas and Services   Male and Female sexual dysfunction (sexual desire disorders, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation, vaginismus, anorgasmia, dyspareunia, gender dysphoria) I have more than 28 years of experience helping people repair and strengthen relationships. with extensive training and expertise with gender and sexual identity issues (LGBT). (as well as many types of alternative sexual expression (BDSM, polyamory, kind, etc.) As one of the first 50 people to be certified as a CSAT, I have more than 15 years experience helping people recover from sexual compulsivity, sexual dependency, and addiction to internet. My extensive training  as a clinical sexologist enables me to help both men and women heal many different kinds of sexual problems. I utilize EMDR (eye movement desensitization & reprocessing) to offer rapid and lasting resolution for many clients with early trauma experience of any kind.  I offer telephone coaching for anyone who needs my specialized expertise but is unable to come to my Central California coast office.  I also offer evening and Saturday appointments.  Occasionally couples or individuals will vacation nearby  beautiful Morro Bay and schedule intensive or extended appointments with me. I  strive to be available to all clients  when they need to contact me between scheduled appointments.

I am a licensed therapist with a specialty in Clinical Sexology-Sex Therapy.  My goal is to assist both individuals and couples with achieving psychological and sexual health.  I have experience helping with most sexual concerns. I have worked with people with all types of male and female sexual dysfunctions (premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, inhibited male orgasm, vaginismus, anorgasmia, and lack of sexual desire). I have worked with sexual addictions (including internet addiction and compulsive masturbation).  I also work with victims of sexual abuse, dissociative-identity disorder, and transgender/cross-dressing. I have two websites: www.JillSexTherapist.com and www.AccessPt.com.  It's never easy to talk about sex, and for many years I've enjoyed providing a safe place to do just that!  My focus is not on performance-how long, how much, how many. It's about accepting and appreciating what's already happening sexually, with a particular focus on helping each person find sexual connection and contentment. The concept of 'curing dysfunction' and teaching clients to 'do' sex better has remained the core concept of modern sex therapy. This leaves many people feeling inadequate, abnormal or not sexual enough - ouch! I enjoy helping individuals and couples enjoy a meaningful sex life based on appreciation and acceptance of what is best for them - not on comparative behavioral performance. I love showing couples how to embrace, with mutual respect and goodwill, a 'different but equal' framework to help them understand and accept differences in sexual desire and needs. This loving approach makes sex in all its forms easier and more fun for everyone!
